The NN Running Supporter is a prime example of how digital technology can further enhance the power of sport. It became renowned during the NN Marathon Rotterdam. Marathon participants received support from family, friends and colleagues through videos shown after approximately 34 km, the distance at which many runners hit the proverbial wall of exhaustion. This concept was made possible by a smart connection between runners' bibs and all a sophisticated algorithm.
