The football boot market is more complex than ever. More brands, more models, more technology, more colorways. Yet communication often remains stuck in campaigns, static reviews and generic product pages. Consumers want more: personal, trustworthy guidance and instant answers to specific questions.
At Unisport, one of Europe’s largest sports retailers, they understand this. With, among others, their popular boot expert JayMike, they make technical product knowledge understandable and entertaining. But JayMike is still just one person. He cannot hold dozens of conversations at the same time, reply to every DM and guide every shopper 24/7.
That is why we created Zoai. Just in time to tell football fans everything about Nike’s newest Mercurial models, the Superfly 11 and Vapor 17, during the biggest football tournament on the planet.
From concept to character
Zoai is not a chatbot with a face. She is a young French creator from Paris, a winger, fast, technical and fearless. Her voice and personality are what we call ‘lightly obsessed’: approachable for everyone, but serious about performance, her gear and football culture. With humor, she challenges you while helping you choose. Her subtle French street slang adds familiarity and attitude without feeling forced. It is also important that Zoai does not pretend to be human. She is transparently AI driven, and that is exactly what makes her followers trust her.
In a video on Unisport’s popular YouTube channel, Zoai meets her hero JayMike and they agree to help each other. Game on.
